Updating the On-line Pricing Pages

  1. On Monica's computer, start Foxpro 6 (start, programs, Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0)
  2. In the command window, "set default to {the drive letter which contains Daffy/manager}E:" (enter)
  3. "use cactuspent order tag pageorder"
  4. "browse"
  5. In the View menu, pick Append Mode if you're adding an entry.
  6. Make sure, when you're adding stuff, that C_quantity is not zero. Usually it should be one, unless you're adding Pentium RAM or something which is done in pairs.
  7. Hint: move the cursor off the added item, then scroll up to see it in place. Make any changes that seem indicated.
  8. Close the database.
  9. Double-click the "Cactus Computer" icon on Monica's desktop, then the WSU icon.

For the WSU pricing pages, line three above is "use wsupent order tag pageorder". Everything else is the same. (But double-click the "WSU Comput... icon for step 9.)
