Network Activity

Most ISP's keep this information top secret, but we thought you would like to see how much traffic there is on our lines and how many modems are in use.  The graphs below are updated every 5 minutes.  The top graph in each pair is today and the bottom graph is this week.

Modem Lines

There are currently 358 modem lines.  The blue line below shows the number currently in use.  The top of the green is a "high water" mark.  This is our proof that we "very, very rarely get busy signals"

Internet Connection

This is our connection to the Internet through Sprint.  As you can see, we can support about twice the number of customers we currently have (tell your friends!).  The green is incoming traffic and the blue is outgoing traffic.

DSL Traffic

This is the line that brings DSL customers to us from Verizon.  The green is incoming traffic and the blue is outgoing traffic.

Processor Utilization

Perhaps the best way to think of the graphs below is that they measure, as a percentage, the processor load currently being placed on our Internet boundary router.  Two critical concerns for an ISP are having enough bandwidth and enough switching power in the boundary router to utilize that bandwidth.  Interestingly, spikes in processor loading are sometimes symptomatic of hacker activity.
